West Ham and Leeds will both be more than happy with how things are going in the Premier League this season, but the Hammers have had a clear edge in consistency.

David Moyes has even dared to dream of qualifying for the Champions League next term following an excellent run of form, which includes a 2-1 triumph over the Whites at Elland Road.

We reckon 11/10 for a home win here has to be the percentage pick for our first West Ham vs Leeds prediction.

A Look At West Ham United’s Betting Odds

West Ham’s top-four hopes suffered a slight setback when they went down 2-1 at Manchester City, but that was still an admirable effort against the runaway leaders.

Michail Antonio’s tap-in helped the Hammers go in level at half-time but John Stones’ 68th-minute strike proved decisive.

A late Issa Diop header which flew just wide could have earned his side a surprise stalemate, but skipper Declan Rice still felt it was a commendable performance.

He told West Ham TV: “I thought you saw a different West Ham, one which was confident and really believed they could take it to City.

“We had so many good chances and it was one of those that when you come back to the changing room you’re gutted. I’m hurt and I’m gutted we didn’t come away with something.

“A year ago, we’d have a couple of games when we were good, then have games when we were poor, but now you can see our performances week in, week out – we’re leaving everything on the pitch.”

West Ham had previously climbed into the top four thanks to a hot streak of seven wins in nine league matches, which included four home victories.

Antonio has gradually been working his way back to peak fitness following some niggling injury problems and also netted in last month’s 2-1 triumph over Tottenham here.

He should benefit from a nine-day rest between games and is backed to break the deadlock in our West Ham vs Leeds betting tips.

Last West Ham line-up: Randolph, Cresswell, Coufal, Dawson, Diop, Johnson, Rice, Lingard, Fornals, Soucek, Antonio.

A Look At Leeds United’s Betting Odds

Leeds are sitting comfortably in mid-table, which should be more than satisfactory for their first season back in the top flight following a lengthy absence.

However, it has been pretty much win or bust for Marcelo Bielsa’s men, who were last involved in a draw back in November.

Since then, they have had eight league wins and nine defeats following a 1-0 home loss to Aston Villa.

Anwar El Ghazi’s decisive early goal put Leeds behind and they lacked penetration when trying to respond, despite having 69 per cent of the possession.

Midfielder Mateusz Klich told the club website: “We tried to get back into it and we had some chances that we missed.

“We brought on offensive players to try and change the game, but it didn’t work this time.

“We have these games sometimes, we just need to be more clinical. We managed the ball well but in the final third we didn’t really create much danger.”

Bielsa will do his best to sharpen up his attack and one interesting stat is that the Whites have scored more times away from home, with the tally standing at 24-15.

However, the goals against ratio also rises on the road at 27-17, so 12/5 for a home win and both teams to score appeals from the West Ham vs Leeds odds, along with 8/1 for a 2-1 scoreline.

Last Leeds line-up: Meslier, Ayling, Cooper, Llorente, Struijk, Dallas, Klich, Bamford, Roberts, Costa, Raphinha.
